Race the Bar is headed back to one of its first locations, but with a bit of a twist. This year we won’t make it out to the Lindley Park neighborhood until the fall, and we are uping the distance a bit! Lindley Park will be a 10 miler and a 5 miler this year! Come on out for the fourth race in this great series! This event is a great opportunity to test your legs as you prepare for your upcoming marathon and half marathon. You will get double series points for the 10 Miler and regular points for the 5 Miler. So check out the current standings to see where you need to place to secure your position!

Parking is very limited in this area and you will need to find street parking. If you park along the course, be advised that cars will not be allowed to move until the race has finished.

- Awards to the top 3 Overall Males and Females in each event
- Awards to the top 3 males and females in the following age groups in each event: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
- Points towards the Race the Bar series. Double points will be given to those competing in the 10 miler and Single points will be given to those who enter the 5 miler.
The 5 mile course will be a one loop course looping through the Lindley Park neighborhood and The Greensboro Arboretum. This is a gorgeous course to run and race on. There will be two waterstops on the course
The ten mile course will be a two loop version of the 5 mile course. This will get each runner their 5 mile split point as well. There will be four places for water and gatorade on the course and four bathroom locations. Remember the 10 miler is double points!
Rules & Guidelines
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
