The North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series will conclude with FIVE finisher medals that combine to create one stunning centerpiece! Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or just starting out, tackle the trails, enjoy the journey, and earn these medals!
The 2026 North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series Pass will be available starting December 1, 2025, through 11:59 PM on December 31, 2025! Registration for individual events will remain open through race day.
The 2026 Trail Series will now include the following FIVE races:
- Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (WTF) Half Marathon & 5 Mile! on Saturday, January 17th
- Northern Trails Trail Race on Saturday, March 7th
- Owls Roost Rumble on Saturday, April 25th
- Triple Lakes Trail Race on Saturday, October 24th
- Black Toenail Friday Race on Friday, November 27th
The medal events are also part of the Trivium Triad Running Series. Not only will you earn the Mega Medal, but you can score points individually and for your club or corporation towards the Running Series. Accumulate points for end-of-season prizes! Click here for more details.
