We are on our way back to Lake Brandt for a second year. This will again be our first open water triathlon of the year in the Trivium Racing Multisport Series. This is a great course for first timers just getting their feet wet, and seasoned veterans looking to PR. Come on out for just the morning race, or attempt the double and do the Off-Road Xterra race in the afternoon as well!

Parking will be available at the marina for the first 50 cars. Overflow parking will be available at trailheads on Lake Brandt Rd. and at Wharton Elementary School (5813 Lake Brandt Rd Greensboro, NC 27455).

Double Trouble Awards: Top 5 overall male and female who compete in the morning Lake Brandt Sprint road triathlon and the afternoon Xterra Off-Road Tri will get a special prize!
880 Yard Swim Course: The swim course will begin and end in Lake Brandt Marina. The swim will start just south of the boat launch and head straight out into Lake Brandt. This will be a clockwise swim and you will keep the bouys on your right. Orange bouys are turn buoys and yellow bouys are for sighting.
12.5 Mile Bike Course: This bike course utilizes bike routes regularly used by Greensboro cyclists. Leave the marina and checkout some of the beautiful northern roads of Guilford County.
3.25 mile run: Just over a 5K this route will take you into one of the hidden gems of a neighborhood found right by Lake Brandt.
Rules & Guidelines
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
