The Greensboro Youth Tri 7.03 Series is a three race series for the promotion and development of youth and junior triathletes. Ages 5 to 15 are welcome and encouraged to participate. These three youth/junior races are based on USA Triathlon’s recommended youth/junior distances per age group.
13-15yr: 350yd Swim, 8K Cycle, 3K Run (7.03 Miles)
11-12yr: 200yd Swim, 5K Cycle, 2K Run (7.03 kms)
9-10yr: 100yd Swim, 4K Cycle, 1K Run
7-8yr: 50yd Swim, 3K Cycle, 1K Run
5-6yr: 25yd Swim, 2K Cycle, 1K Run
Athlete Development: All races will be preceded by 4 weeks of optional triathlon training by E3:Endurance’s Youth & Junior Certified Coach, Matthew Clancy. All participants will learn the fundamentals of swimming, cycling, and running for triathlon, while learning transitioning, pacing, and race strategies.

In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
