The Triple Lakes Trail race is an iconic part of the North Carolina running scene. Centered around Lake Brandt, Lake Townsend, and Lake Jeanette, this race takes athletes through most of the amazing watershed trails in Greensboro. This October race course is extremely well marked, well aided, and has very generous time cutoffs! Whether you are trying your first distance trail race and want to tackle the half marathon, or want to go bigger and race the marathon or 40 mile race, we have an event for you!

Parking
Parking will be available throughout Bur-Mil Park. When you enter Bur Mil Park, (from Owl’s Roost Road) there are two paved parking lots on your left and limited grass parking near the start finish/line at the back of the park. The race start/finish will be all the way in the back of the park (continue walking on Bur Mil Park Rd until you reach the back of the park). You will have to walk approx 0.3 miles to get to the race start. Volunteers will be available to assist with parking.

Awards
This race will be chip timed with disposable bib-chips, We ask all athletes to wear their race number on the front and visible.
All Finishers will receive a custom Triple Lakes race medal
Awards will be presented to the following categories:
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in the Half Marathon, 40k, 40 Mile
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in each age group
Top Relay Teams
Age Groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74,75-79, 80+
Race Director reserves the right to combine age groups.
$15 service charge to mail awards.
Rules
Rules & Guidelines
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
