Summer Trail Fest Ultra

50K, Half Marathon, & 5 Mile

Ah, Summer Trail Fest Ultra (STFU), Half Marathon, & 5 Mile. Yes, we know what the acronym stands for; that was sort of the point. This race is a great first timer’s ultra with well stocked, frequent aid stations and excessive course markings. The course is 90% gorgeous, well-groomed trails. The race has extremely generous cutoff times, with a 20:00/mile pace for the 50K and 45:00/mile pace for the Half Marathon. The course is also a spectacular race for the seasoned veteran or athlete looking to PR their trail 50K or Half Marathon. Taking place in the center of Michigan at the gorgeous Sleepy Hollow State Park, this event is convenient to both the East and West side of the state!

After the race stick around and cheer all the other athletes while we celebrate with a beach and barbecue afterparty! Trivium will grill up burgers and hot dogs. Rock your new STFU summer racing singlet and show off your awesome finisher’s medal!

This race is the counterpart to Winter Trail Fest Half Marathon and 5 Mile. The two event medals combine to make one giant medal!

If you’re having a tough time getting motivated this year, the Summer Trail Fest is the solution! STFU and Run! Worried you‘re not fast enough? We have a 20 minute per mile cutoff! Not ready for an ultra? That’s fine, sign up for the Half Marathon or 5 Mile! It’s time to quit with the excuses and STFU and Run. The Summer Trail Fest Ultra is a great way to get yourself motivated to train through the winter. When paired with our unique Winter Trail Fest (WTF) Half Marathon and 5 Mile, it’s easy to say, “WTF, I might as well STFU and Run!”
