About

Trivium Racing is excited to again be a part of one of the greatest traditions in Michigan. We will be a part of the 38th annual Dearborn Homecoming Festival. Last years inaugural event was great, and we know this year will be bigger and better! In 2016 the 1980s decade won the event, so the 2017 race will be 80s themed……DUDE!
Online registration will close at 7:00pm on 8/5/17, but on site registration will be available on race day. 2017 shirts and medals are sold out as of 8/3/17.
During registration, participants will be prompted to sign up as a member of a specific decade. This is whichever decade you most associate with the Dearborn area. If you are not from Dearborn, you can sign up as whichever decade you graduated high school. We will crown a winning decade based on points scored during the race.
Scoring: Each participant will receive 5 points for their decade just for finishing! The top 3 males and females will earn 500, 300, 200 respectively for their decade. Within each 5 year age group, the top ten people of each gender will score points as well – 200, 175, 160, 150, 140, 100, 90, 80, 70, 50 respectively.
Dearborn Homecoming 5K is the second race in the Trivium Michigan Medal Series! If you complete all five events in the medal series you will earn a sixth “finishers” medal to complete the series! All six medals connect together magnetically to create a massive medal!! If you are going to miss an event you can also sign up for the “virtual race” and still get a medal and bib!
