About
Its time to take off on an adventure once again with Trivium Racing! Blaze through one of the fastest courses in the Detroit area at Willow Run Airport. We will be hosting this race on the same weekend as Thunder over Michigan, one of the largest airshows in the nation! Is there a better venue for a run? This will be a great opportunity to see some of the coolest aircraft first-hand before gates open. Once you finish and get your custom finishers medal, stick around because your race entry also acts as a free pass into the air show! See the simulated battles and check out the amazing aircraft on display. You can even take a ride on The B-17 Flying Fortress!
5K on the Runway Yankee is the third race in the Trivium Michigan Medal Series! If you complete all five events in the medal series you will earn a sixth “finishers” medal to complete the series! All six medals connect together magnetically to create a massive medal!! If you are going to miss an event you can also sign up for the “virtual race” and still get a medal and bib! (details on the next page)
Events in the Michigan Medal Series:
1) Prove It 5K – 6/4/17
2) Dearborn Homecoming 5K – 8/6/17

4) Growler Gallop 10 mile and 5K 9/10/17
5) Black Toenail Friday 7.5 and 13.1 11/24/17
6) Finishers Medal!
note: we will be finalizing the course at the end of March. If the FAA does not approve the course (which we do not see as an issue this year) we will refund anyone’s entry who does not like the alternate course.
