The Southeast Michigan Club and Corporate Cup Challenge

Teamwork is at the core of what we do.

It takes a team to put on a race. It takes different backgrounds, skills, and ideas to hold innovative, affordable events. It also makes our work extra rewarding to see teamwork out on the course during races.

We love teamwork, and that’s why we reward it.

Our Southeast Michigan Club and Corporate Championship is well under way. There are over 50 teams in contention for bragging rights, the championship trophy, and an awards party, courtesy of Trivium Racing.

The team scoring has been updated, and here are the top 5 contenders:

  1. Chevy Running Club
  2. WeRun313
  3. Gazelle Sports
  4. TRVFIT Shelby
  5. City Sneakers Mt. Clemens Running Club

One event can make all the difference. The second place team, We Run 313, formed just over a month ago. The team has participated in just one of our events so far, but they came out in full force to score 177 points.

Score points by simply showing up and finishing the race. We award additional points to those who place in their age group. Make sure to include your team name with online race registration!

There are five races left in the championship series, so mark your calendars and gather your teammates:

  1. Trenton Summer Festival 5k and 8k

Join us out on this flat, fast, and scenic course on Saturday, June 29. Registration comes with a custom t-shirt, a finishers medal, two craft beers, and post-race food. This year’s beer is provided by Blake’s Hard Cider Co. and Atwater Brewery.

2. Dearborn Homecoming 5k

This early August race is part of the Dearborn Homecoming Festival. Participants get FREE parking at Ford Field (a victory in itself!) on race day morning, along with a custom shirt and finishers medal. Bust out the scrunchies and leg warmers, because the race is 80s themed!

3. Prove It 5k and 10k

This early September race takes place on the test track at the world famous GM Milford Proving Ground. Cars have flown on this course at over 100 mph, and now’s your turn to soar.

4. Atwater Growler Gallop

Join us Sunday, September 29 at one of our biggest Michigan races. We typically get over 1,000 energetic runners and walkers, so register while there’s still room! Participants receive a custom finishers medal, two Atwater craft beer tickets, and a race hoodie in the color of their choice (choose between four different color options).

Each Growler Gallop hoodie color: gray, pink, orange, and blue

5. Black Toenail Friday Half Marathon and 7.5 Mile

Relax on Thanksgiving, and hit the trails on Black Friday for this race. The trails are well groomed and have very little in the way of hills. Leave the crowds to the mall, and come on out for our Thanksgiving weekend tradition.
