About
The Northeast Park Duathlon is officially cancelled for 2015. Despite all efforts to get the course clear of ice and snow and make it safe, we got a call from the park Thursday evening that they will not be opening the park to the public Friday or Saturday, due to the persistent sheets of ice covering park roads and sidewalks. So we will not be able to hold the event as planned.
We will still plan to be at Fleet Feet Greensboro from 4 – 7pm Friday, if you would like to pick up your race hat – super warm ski caps that now seem exceedingly appropriate for this weekend. We will also bring them to the next two duathlons in the series if you want to pick it up there.
We are looking at our schedule and talking to the park about the possibility of rescheduling the event. We will let you know as soon as we have some news.
Thanks for being understanding. Stay safe and warm this weekend.
This is the third year that Trivium Racing is bringing you the Triad Duathlon Series. This is also the third year we will begin the event at Northeast Park. This is a great short course event to get the cobwebs our and kickstart your 2015 multisport season! With a flat fast run and a short challenging bike course you will be kissing the winter woes away!
