Lappers Delight 24 Hour, 12 Hour, and 6 Hour Endurance Challenge and Relay

We are excited to finally bring this event to life. Athletes can tackle the 12 or 24 hour event as an individual or as a relay. If you aren’t ready to plan your entire weekend around the race, we still have the 6 hour individual race open to all!  This race is going to be a blast. Camp Dearborn is an ideal location for this- with a gorgeous two loop paved course, athletes will never be far from supplies or the event area. The course is not pancake flat, but is not hilly either, giving athletes an ideal situation for long distance running.  Athletes can rent cabins, luxury cabins, or canvas tents for the weekend and will have access to showers throughout the race. Music will be playing the entire time and teams with have the opportunity to take over the playlist for an hour and choose the music!  We will also have other entertainment including games, bonfires and some awesome breakfast and dinner food during the race!

This event is a celebration of our running community and a test of our athletes’ endurance!  Come out and celebrate at Lappers Delight Endurance Challenge with us!!

  • 1:00 AM  – 6 Hour Race Ends
  • 1:15 AM – 6 Hour Awards
  • 7:00 AM – 12 Hour Race Ends
  • 7:15 AM – 12 Hour Race Awards
  • 7:45 AM – Breakfast begins (included in registration fee)
  • 9:45 AM Breakfast ends
  • 7:00PM 24 Hour Course closes
  • 7:15 PMPost-Race party and Dinner and 24 Hour Awards.

Maps

Course Maps

    This 2 mile, all road route is flat with just a bit of incline.  Perfect for a lap race!  You will have the opportunity along the way to stop at the event area for food and drinks as well as pass by several tent and cabin areas if you plan on camping for the race. Aid Station at the event space will be fully stocked with nutrition as well as fun foods throughout the event!

Rules

Rules & Guidelines

In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.

Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
