We are proud to be partnering with Southend Brewing for this year’s race and taking the event back to it’s original venue on Lewis St in downtown Greensboro! The Growler Gallop 5K and 10K has become a staple in the running community and is a great opportunity to race, and commune with fellow runners. With a great course, live music, and post race beer, what would be better? Place in the 10k race and you could win a growler of beer! (pretty great awards huh?)
This race is part of the Trivium Running Series, the Trivium Club Cup and the Trivium Mega Medal Series. That means not only can you win points towards our series prize, but you can also win points for your team! Sign up as a member of a club to be eligible!

2022 Mega Medal Series
In 2015 we introduced the Mega Medal Series, and it has been going strong since then. In 2022 we have a brand new and even more amazing mega medal for you to create! This years road mega medal series will have 5 medals. All races in the series can be found by clicking here.

Awards
- Finisher’s Medals will be given to all finishers
- Awards to the top 3 overall males and females in both distances
- Awards to the top 3 males and females in both distances in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
- Growlers and a certificate for one fill at Southend Brewing will be awarded to 10k overall and age group award winners!

Course Maps
We have been working with the city on bringing our course back to the South end. Our 10K course will again be a two looper. This brings back all the stuff we loved about our old Growler Gallop course
Our 5K Course will be similiar to our Speakeasy 5K Course, as we will happily be back downtown this year!
Rules
Rules & Guidelines
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. To request a refund, please contact us on our Contact page and select “Registration” as the reason for your message.
Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
