What is a Buddha Bowl? It is a vibrant bowl brimming with a diverse selection of grains, pulses, greens, vegetables, nuts or seeds, and delicious dressings.

How do you create your own Buddha Bowl? 

Base (pick one)

  • White rice
  • Forbidden rice (black rice with a nutty flavor)
  • Quinoa
  • Couscous
  • Any other ancient grain

Vegetables (pick a few and load them on)

  • Edamame
  • Broccoli
  • Avocado
  • Pineapple
  • Cucumber
  • Carrots
  • Sweet potato
  • Butternut squash
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Cabbage

Protein (pick one)

  • Sardines
  • Chicken
  • Chickpeas
  • Edamame
  • Steak (thinly sliced and go easy on)
