Ragsdale YMCA Reindeer Romp

About

Due to the rapidly deteriorating road conditions, the current Winter Storm Warning, and accumulations of snow, The Guilford County Sheriff’s Department has determined the road conditions unsafe for our Ragsdale YMCA 14th annual Reindeer Romp scheduled for Saturday, December 9th.  We hate to cancel this event but your safety and welfare are our first priority.
As per the registration policy, refunds will not be provided. The race is still liable for all associated expenses incurred. The Ragsdale YMCA will provide $5 dollar voucher for all paid registered runners from this race to the 2018 Reindeer Romp.  A coupon code will be sent when registration opens for the 2018 Race.   Race packets and shirts will be available for pick up until Friday, December 15th.
We are truly disappointed, but please know that funds raised from the Reindeer Romp allow the YMCA to provide financial assistance to families and individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford our programs.

The Annual Giving Campaign provides scholarships for people who need our Y’s services. We provide program and membership scholarships for all ages and abilities. The Annual Giving Campaign also supports programs that can’t support themselves (LiveSTRONG Cancer Survivor program, FITting Another Piece in the Puzzle for youth on the Autism spectrum, swim programs, and many more). When partnered with you, the Reindeer Romp encompasses
the Y’s three areas of focus:

  • For Youth Development,
  • For Healthy Living,
  • For Social Responsibility

Rules & Guidelines

In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.

Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy. Transfer policy: Entries can be transferred to another individual for a $5 transfer fee. T-shirt size will not be changeable. Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year.
