A little bit of a new feel to an awesome event in 2017. Fire on the Track will be a 100% charity event, raising money for local non-profit organizations this year. Each non-profit will be picked by elite athletes running in the final heats. The event will also be an evening race midweek so that more people can attend to race, and cheer, without missing other awesome weekend races!
A 5K on the track is an fantastic opportunity to hit a PR for both the elites and novices alike. Come on out and test your fitness by racing in a unique environment. The heats will be set up in ascending order of projected speed. Each athlete will receive 400 meter splits with their finisher results so they can see how their pacing went throughout the race.
The championship heat will be a charity race with each runner picking a charity they will represent! Runners in the championship heat will raise money and then all of the money will be pooled and the athletes will race for it in the Championship Heat! All charities will be given a percentage of money raised!Register

Rules & Guidelines
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director or Race Committee (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined. Information will be available on the race website.
Refund Policy: No refunds for any reason will be issued for this event within 30 days of the event start date. Earlier than 30 days before the event, a request may be made for a 50% refund (this will be 50% of entry fee, excluding any processing fees). Entries CANNOT be transferred or deferred to another event or year. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this refund policy.
